Can I reapply TWP semi transparent 2 or 3 years down the road without stripping or brightening ?
Yes, but you need to clean and brighten.
Hi is the coverage listed including 2 coats or is that only for one coat? Thanks
Coverage is per coat.
Can you apply the TWP while the deck is still wet? I have an older can and it says to wait 48 hours. Just want to make sure that I am doing it right.
No, you cannot apply TWP to damp wood. Has to dry for 48 hours.
I have a redwood deck that had TWP 1502 applied about 5 years ago. I’m about to clean/brighten/restain. If I were to shift the stain to 1511 (California Redwood), what might I expect (good, bad, or ugly)? Thanks in advance.
You can do this but you will need to strip/brighten for the prep. Use the Restore A Deck Stripper/Brightener Kit. The TWP comes off easily with the RAD stripper.
Hello, I applied 2 coats using the 30 minute wet on wet method. I would like to apply a 3rd coat. Can I wait 24-48 hours to apply the third coat? Thanks!
Do not apply a third coat. Too much stain and it will not cure or dry properly.
Hi,
I have applied 2 coats using the 30 minute wet on wet method. When can I apply a third coat? Can I wait 24 to 48 hours? Thanks!

Should I use TWP 100 or the TWP 1500 stain? Thanks.
Depends on which state you live in?

I have sanded and will use the brightener on it and would like to use TWP 1500 but I am not sure which color might work best over last year’s color. It was semi solid and this is semi transparent. Thanks for your feedback!
You cannot use the TWP over this unless you remove all of the Cabot first.
Which tools are best for application of brightener and stain? Can the same be used for both? The floor is sanded well for the TWP stain. The spindles have little wear from previous stain. Would power washing be best for spindles and railings? Thanks
You apply the brightener with a pump sprayer. The TWP is best applied with a stain pad or brush. The TWP cannot be applied over the stain that is still on the railings. You will need to sand and or strip to remove it.

Thanks, Ron Oda
TWP is a wet on wet application. 20-60 minutes after the first coat is when you apply the second coat.
This product recommends 2 coats. How much time should be allotted between the 1st and 2nd coat?

Linear feet of the railings times the height.
